I'm an Americanista and even I don't want the Chivas to go down. A minimum of 2 seasons without EL SUPER CLASSICO would be torture.
Everyone is hating on America and Chivas but the League would be garbage without them. Imagine Boca or River, or Real Madrid or Barcelona going to the second division.|||That would suck. There wouldn't be any compition, which would be boring. But that is impossible because if one team does, they have another team to let them stay in 1st division. Chivas has Tapatio and America has Socio Aguila.|||Hell nah, we need the rivalry. |||i rather have both make it in el liguilla so america can beat them there|||no way, the the league would be crap without one of them|||I'm a Cruz Azul fan but having Chivas or America out of Primera division would be boring!
Good thing our desciendo system is not like europe or america wouldn't be in primera division|||no we wouldn't have good teams at the international cups|||no i dont
they attract a lot of money
so if any of them descended the teams would recieve less money(teams like pumas, morelia, etc)
and then the primera A teams would get richer|||THATS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEND....NEVER! I DIDNT EVEN READ THE OTHER ANSWERS, THATS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEND. Neither is Cruz Azul, Tigres, Pachuca, Morelia, Pumas...these are teams that are never going to decend...there is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much money in them already and the FMF will looose waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa鈥?too much money if any of these teams do decend....its just a bad year for both teams relax...|||It will NEVER happen. |||i agree with u with out a Super clasico la liga mexicana wouldnt be da same.... |||I dont even think that is possible. Both owners have enough money to do something to prevent it. If they were to go down something magical would happen, some hidden rule would appear and a promotion game would need to be played and then the other team would not show up. Something like that. Buts its sad see them where they are. Specially america since, if they continiuu the way they are next year they might start at the bottom of the percentage table.|||well of course not because they are the best and most followed teams of mexico plus that would never happen because since america and chivas were the first to make the mexico tournament they have enough points and money to stay in the first division for the next Millenium |||All of you people saying that this will never happen are idiots... We can't predict the future. Look at what happened to Juventus, one of the most elite teams from Italy, a few seasons back. Even though Juventus went to the lower division because of corruption, but that's not the point. |||trust me when i say this:
it will NEVER happen bcuz theres TOO much mafia in mexican soccer. people are always paying players or refereees or coaches to play bad or stuff like that.
my uncles friend used to be a referee and he told me all about it. they wanted to pay him to sell the game or watever to the team . then he quit bcuz he didnt want to be involved with it.
so dont always believe what u see. ESPECIALLY in the liguilla.for example, why do u think santos didnt win the championship like two seasons ago when they were just RUNNING OVER teams and being undefeated??? because of $$$$ and i bet santos people still got paid for it too
DAMN THAT WAS LONG|||I would love it if America got relegated cause then we'd find out how corrupt FEMEXFUT really is!... If that happened there would be a whole lot of strings being pulled to make sure that America stays in the league, just watch.
I hope it happens just cause I'm curious how creative the FEMEXFUT and Televisa mafia would get in order to keep them in la Liga. I can think of a couple ways, one is called San Luis and the other Necaxa...
As for Chivas, I'm sure they would get some help staying in the league.
|||No.|||it won't happen because they would buy the new franchise going up to the 1st division...just like Veracruz did a few years ago with irapauto.|||not going to happen
