i've got 2 bottles of Chivas Regal, one says Blended Scotch Whisky and the other Premium Scotch Whisky.
what's the difference?|||Blended scotches are scotches that have been combined from different barrel years to achieve a particular consistent taste. Premium scotch in this case is one that is barrel aged and can stand on it's own without the process. Cutty Sark, Chivas, Cluny, McCallen, Johnny Walker Red are examples of blended scotches.|||blended is mixed with barrels from different ages. Premium is not.|||Blended is a mix of different whiskeys and premium is just the one type.
My dad's a manager in Chivas ;)
